A bird in blue-teal stripes with an orange cap, a small red heart at its chest and yellow feet. Beside it a lighthouse in red and white bands, with an olive lantern room and a dark doorway at the base.

Both are painted with the directness of something drawn from memory. They suit a coat that gets worn in bad weather, and they hold together as a seaside pair without being obvious about it.
Material
Made by hand in glazed ceramic and fitted with metal brooch pins on the back. Small differences in shape, painted line, glaze and surface are part of the work.

Wipe gently with a dry cloth. Avoid dropping, bending the pin, or wearing in heavy rain.
