A house with a deep mottled blue roof and black dots across white walls, with a red tulip curling up beside the door. The bird has a blue wing patterned in white daisies, a yellow beak, yellow feet and a pink cheek.

Together they suggest a scene without spelling it out. Put the house on a coat and the bird on a scarf, or keep the pair on one lapel and let people work them out.
Material
Made by hand in glazed ceramic and fitted with metal brooch pins on the back. Small differences in shape, painted line, glaze and surface are part of the work.

Care
Wipe gently with a dry cloth. Avoid dropping, bending the pin, or wearing in heavy rain.
