Handmade in Japan by Kanmi, a leather goods studio based in Asakusa, Tokyo, this compact wallet is crafted from softly grained cowhide. The stitching, zip tape and woven lining are colour-matched to the leather, from deep red to warm camel. Kanmi's small tree is embossed on the front.

A single zip runs along the top and turns the corner, opening the wallet wide so everything is in view. Light and compact, it slips easily into a pocket or small bag. Each comes in Kanmi's own drawstring pouch, ready for giving or keeping.

Cowhide with a woven fabric lining, leather coin pocket and L-shaped metal zip. Six card slots, two sections for folded notes and one coin pocket. 12 × 9.5 × 1.7 cm, approximately 60 g. Made in Japan.

Care
Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth. Keep away from prolonged moisture, direct heat and strong sunlight.
Do not wash or use household cleaners. Dyed leather can pass a little colour to pale fabric when damp, so keep it away from light clothing in the rain. The leather will soften and develop natural variation with use.
Suitable for
Bank cards, notes folded in half and coins; coat pockets and smaller bags.

About the maker
Kanmi began in a home studio in Asakusa, Tokyo, an area long associated with leatherworking. For more than 20 years, the studio has made practical leather goods with gentle, recognisable details that grow richer through everyday use.
