Made by hand in Brussels, where Le Typographe have designed and printed their own stationery since 2007. Each card goes through a letterpress, so the type sits pressed into the paper rather than printed across it, and you notice it with your fingers before your eyes.
They are small on purpose. A few words fill one, which makes a thank you easier to write and a note tucked into flowers or a parcel easier to finish. They also sit well as place cards at a dinner table. Inside every envelope is a printed honeycomb, kept back for whoever opens it.
Four colourways, each a set of five cards and five envelopes held in a charcoal paper band printed in gold: gold with white, peach with burgundy, copper with barley, and lavender with muted red. In the peach set, the honeycomb is printed in gold.
Blank cards, 6.4 by 9.3 cm, on 300 gsm FSC-certified paper. Envelopes 7 by 10 cm in 100 gsm canvas paper with a gummed flap.
