Five copper cards with barley envelopes, made for the sort of note that travels with flowers, sits at a place setting or goes into a parcel.

The letterpress leaves a real impression in the paper rather than printing flat across it. Inside each envelope is a honeycomb pattern, a small detail that only appears when it is opened.

300gsm FSC-certified European paper (cards), 100gsm linen-textured canvas paper with gummed tab (envelopes). Honeycomb pattern printed inside each envelope.

About the maker
Founded in Brussels in 2007 by fine arts graduate Cédric Chauvelot, Le Typographe takes its name from a tiny bark beetle whose galleries resemble lines of type. Its stationery is designed, letterpress printed and finished by hand in the Brussels workshop.
