Japanese mini cards from RYU-RYU in Ashiya, taking a grand piano, a cello and a small blue bird from Yoko Fujiki's embroidery and reproducing them on paper, with embossing that lifts the stitched detail slightly off the surface. A fine gold-foil line finishes the oval around each illustration.

Three cards and three teal envelopes, small enough to tuck into flowers, a parcel or a book, with the middle left clear for the note itself. Not intended for posting on their own.

About the maker
Illustrations by the Japanese illustrator and embroidery artist Yoko Fujiki. Produced by RYU-RYU, a stationery maker in Ashiya, near Kobe, which began as an advertising design studio before moving into cards, letter sets and paper goods of its own.
