A single ginkgo leaf, pressed until it has gone the colour of old gold, with one small green fern set at the foot of the stem. The fan holds its ribbing so clearly it could be mistaken for an engraving.

Marie-Charlotte gathers and presses each plant herself over several weeks, and stamps the reverse with the 23fleurs mark. No two are alike. It arrives unframed, ready for a frame you choose yourself.

Real ginkgo leaf and fern, gathered in autumn, pressed for 3 to 5 weeks and mounted by hand on thick handmade natural white acid-free paper, 285gsm. Protective paper folder included.

Care
Frame behind UV-resistant glass and keep out of direct sunlight. Plant colours will change gradually towards softer natural tones. Handle only by the paper edges with clean, dry hands.

About the maker
23janvier is the south-west France paper studio founded in 2013 by visual artist Marie-Charlotte. For the 23fleurs collection, seasonal plants are gathered, pressed for 3 to 5 weeks and mounted by hand.
